BOYS IN BROWN SLIP TO FIRST HOME DEFEAT
FC St. Pauli were beaten 4-3 by SV 07 Elversberg in front of 29,546 spectators at the Millerntor on Sunday. Johannes Eggestein gave his side a first-half lead, only for Maurice Neubauer to equalise after the restart. Marcel Hartel fired the Boys in Brown back in front, but goals from Joseph Boyamba, just moments later, Paul Wanner and Hugo Vandermersch set the visitors on the road to victory. Jackson Irvine pulled one back in stoppage time, but it proved too late.

BOYS IN BROWN BEATEN AT KARLSRUHE
FC St. Pauli slipped to a 2-1 defeat in weekend's top fixture at Karlsruher SC on Saturday evening. The home side took an early lead through Marcel Franke before captain Jackson Irvine levelled with a header on 37. Paul Nebel restored the home side's advantage in the 69th minute. Reduced to ten following the sending-off of Hauke Wahl, the Boys in Brown fought in vain to ward off their third defeat of the season.
