The 2019 US tour begins at 0820 CET on Tuesday morning when the Boys in Brown fly from Hamburg to Frankfurt. There they will take another plane at 1100 CET to New York, where they will land at JFK Airport at 1340 CET. On arrival, the St. Pauli delegation will head off to sponsors Ben & Jerry’s. After their first night in the Big Apple, the Boys in Brown will call in at the Consulate General of Germany before going on a sightseeing tour of the city. Thursday, 23 May – New York

On the third day, the Boys in Brown will be able to enjoy a lie-in, not the worst thing they could do after what might be a long night, and also very sensible looking ahead to the first of two friendly games of the tour against New York Cosmos at the Rocco Commissio Stadium (533 W 218th St, 10034 NY), which kicks off at 7.30pm local time (0130 CET) that evening. If you happen to be in the Big Apple and would like to go to the game, ticket information can be found here!

That morning, a panel discussion on The Rise of Independent Football will take place at the Convene at 101 Park Ave at 41st St., close to Grand Central Station, at 11pm. The participants are St. Pauli president Oke Göttlich, Sean Mann (Co-Owner, Detroit City FC), Shawn Roggenkamp (FCSP fan club East River Pirates) and Joe Barone (Senior Vice President, New York Cosmos).

After the game, the players will see out the evening with the fans at the Supporters Night at the East River Bar (97 S 6th Street, Brooklyn, 11211 NY) , the home of FCSP fan club the East River Pirates. Another highlight is sure to be the appearance of Thees Uhlmann, who will perform a number of his songs.
