NEHRIG: "A FAIR RESULT"

After the home game against Dynamo Dresden we noted what the players had to say in the mixed zone.
Marc Hornschuh: "We struggled in the first half. Dresden made things difficult for us with some good crossfield balls and we couldn't get into the game. We still had a couple of chances, though, and even took the lead. We were able to increase the pressure after the interval. It was pretty annoying to concede again because we were playing well in that phase but in the end I suppose it's a fair result. We'll keep working hard, it's still very early on in the season, after all."
Bernd Nehrig: "We struggled to get a grip on things in the first half. Dresden operated with a back three and high full-backs, which meant we did a lot of jumping. We didn't concede, though, and even went in front, only to concede the equaliser after a lapse in concentration. We were more in the game in the second half because we changed things round. We had one or two chances and when we eventually did score we conceded the equaliser right away. Football's so tough at times but in the end 2-2 is a fair result."
Daniel Buballa: "We came back out much stronger. In the first half we lacked the grip on the game we earned ourselves in the second. We'll take the point even if it's a bit irritating when you've taken the lead twice."
Christopher Buchtmann: "It was a deserved 2-2 draw, though we're obviously a bit disappointed not to get more after being in front twice. We made a tactical change and were in command in the second half. Goals are the best way I can help the team and I'm glad it came off today."
Sören Gonther (Dynamo Dresden): "We played really well in the first half and needlessly went behind. The players showed great mentality and we earned a point. It was goosebumps all the way on my return to the Millerntor. I was very happy about the send-off before the game."
Robin Himmelmann: "It is what it is. Before the second goal Heise pulled the trigger from the worst position for a goalkeeper. You can't push the ball to the side, you have to hang onto it. That didn't happen. When all's said and done we can't complain about the result."
Patrick Möschl (SG Dynamo Dresden): "Not many teams will get a point here, let alone win. We were well in the game in the first half. We fought back twice and will take that back with us to Dresden after a brave performance."
Rico Benatelli (SG Dynamo Dresden): "I'm satisfied. We were the better side for the first 45 minutes. We gave the ball away a lot after the break and didn't get into the game as well, so we can be pleased with the draw."
