ST. PAULI PLAN NEW SEASON WITHOUT DUDZIAK AND NEUDECKER

Following the agreement of contract extensions with five players in Robin Himmelmann, Christopher Avevor, Philipp Ziereis, Daniel Buballa and Ryo Miyaichi, FC St. Pauli have announced that they will not be going into the new season with Jeremy Dudziak and Richard Neudecker.

Director of sport Uwe Stöver has been in talks with the players and their agents since last October. "We negotiated with both players and their representatives for quite some time and made several offers before setting them a deadline for a decision to allow us to move forward with our squad planning," said Stöver. "The outcome was that neither player accepted our offer and so we were unable to reach an agreement. That is regrettable but I'm sure both will give their all for St. Pauli until the final day."

Jeremy Dudziak joined the club from Borussia Dortmund in 2015 and has made 88 competitive appearances for the Boys in Brown (4 goals) to date. Richard Neudecker moved to the Millerntor from 1860 Munich in 2016 and has made 43 senior appearances since then, scoring seven goals.
