Football Cooperative Sankt Pauli 2024 has reached its target almost exactly. Following the subscription phase, which ran from mid-November to the end of March, the FCSP cooperative has 22,623 members owning shares worth a total of 29,178.800 euro who will now assume ownership of Millerntor Stadium.

The Boys in Brown gave their all against a decent Stuttgart side and fought with passion after going down to ten but they eventually succumbed to a late winner after 90 incredibly emotional minutes. Though hard to take, the defeat won’t knock the team off their stride and they go to Frankfurt next week determined to get the result that will secure their top-flight status for another year.

FC St. Pauli lost by the only goal at home to VfB Stuttgart in front of a packed Millerntor on Saturday afternoon. In a high-octane encounter the Boys in Brown were reduced to ten when Siebe Van der Heyden was dismissed on 57. The visitors finally capitalised when Nick Woltemade hit a late winner before Nikola Vasilj was sent off for two bookable offences in the fifth minute of time added on.
