Banks: "I'm already looking forward to the moment"
The 1-0 home win over Eintracht Braunschweig was yet another game Scott Banks was reduced to watching from the stands, having torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in the 1-1 draw in the reverse fixture back in September. The Scottish winger is working hard on his return, though, and can hardly wait to get back on the training ground with the rest of the squad.
Hürzeler: "Huge compliments for the way we defended in the last 25 minutes"

Hürzeler: "Individual errors happen in football"
The Boys in Brown lost for the first time in almost ten months on Saturday, going down by the only goal at Magdeburg. It looked to be heading for a goalless draw before an individual error led to the home side's winner. That and the defeat itself were the subject of discussion after the game, of course.
UNBEATEN RUN ENDS AT MAGDEBURG
FC St. Pauli slipped to a 1-0 defeat at FC Magdeburg on Saturday afternoon. In an evenly balanced contest, the home side capitalised on a huge defensive mistake to notch the only goal of the game through Bariş Atik. Metcalfe: "It was good to see the boys are still doing well"
Connor Metcalfe trained with his teammates at the Kollau for the first time in 2024 on Tuesday, he and Jackson Irvine having been at the Asian Cup with Australia from the turn of the year. The Socceroos went out of the tournament at the quarter-final stage last Friday after a 2-1 extra-time defeat at the hands of South Korea. That disappointment soon vanished with the home win over Fürth, however.
