Aremu to miss last three games

Afeez Aremu will not be available for the rest of the season. The midfielder was released from training on Wednesday to travel home to Nigeria after coming to an agreement with club officials. He will therefore miss the last three league games.
"It's certainly an unusual occurrence but there are situations where family matters clearly take precedence over work. We have therefore made it possible for Afeez to go home before the end of the season," explained director of sport Andreas Bornemann.
"We'd like to have had Afeez with us for the remaining matches, of course, but we didn't want to put any obstacles in his way," added head coach Timo Schultz. "We have a big squad and this will give other players an opportunity to show what they can do."
