"WE GOT WORSE WITH EVERY MINUTE" – THE POST-MATCH REACTION

What a sickener. Here's the post-match reaction following the 5-0 defeat at Arminia Bielefeld on Friday evening.
Uwe Stöver (director of sport): "The qualities that made the team stand out in the second half of last season have gone. Today the basics were missing. We need to get a certain self-evidence in our play again. In attack and in defence. The onus is on all of us."
Lasse Sobiech: "That was a horrible humiliation. I have no explanation for why we were unable to show a response. We fell apart in the second half. It was a perfect example of how not to do things. For us to lose so heavily a second time in a row is simply unacceptable."
Christopher Buchtmann: "It's hard to analyse straight after the game. We have to keep going. I saw some good signs in training during the week, but good signs count for nothing. We collapsed and that's extremely disappointing."
Robin Himmelmann: "I have to go back a long way to remember taking such a drubbing. While we got worse with every minute, Bielefeld got better with every minute. We gave a decent performance in the opening minutes, but decent showings simply aren't enough now."
Fabian Klos (Arminia Bielefeld): "It's not real at the moment. It was so much fun with the team today, but we had to work incredibly hard for it. The first half was very even. St. Pauli could have taken the lead as well. After the break we worked ourselves into a frenzy."
