Daniel Buballa: "We wanted to get the ball forward again. As you saw, we took risks today. It was a super showing in the first half, but we struggled a bit after the break. Bochum did better and we had to hold our own for the first time. The young players who are having to step in at the moment are doing a superb job. It was a lot of fun with them. We have to be more clinical at the Millerntor next season if we're to take more points here." 

Jan-Philipp Kalla: "Bochum rarely threatened our goal and we performed really well. We created chances, were aggressive in the tackle and won lots of balls. The only thing we can be accused of is not getting the goal. It was good to watch and it felt good on the pitch. The young players who stepped into the breach for the injured lads did a perfect job. I'm really pleased for them." 

Justin Hoogma: "We started well and could have, perhaps should have, got a goal. We had a few problems when Bochum switched things round but we improved again towards the end of the first half. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a goal, though. It was a completely different story in the second half and Bochum had more of the game. They could have scored, even though they didn't have as many chances as us overall. Over the 90 minutes I think a draw is a fair result."

Robin Himmelmann: "I think we gave a very good performance in the first half. We put our opponents under pressure early and won lots of balls in their half, which meant we didn't have a long way to go to their goal. Ultimately, we lacked punch, though, and so we went in at half-time 0-0. At the start of the second half we were a bit too jittery. We had problems getting back into the game. We allowed them one or two chances but couldn't find the final pass ourselves, so I think 0-0 is a fair result. Nevertheless, I definitely think we can build on the first-half display." 

Sami Allagui: "I thought we were superb in the first half. Bochum appeared in our box twice at most. The only thing we can blamed for is not getting the goal in that phase of the game. I had two chances. The first smacked against the inside of the post and the second produced a good save from the keeper. It was an attractive display from us in the first half and we should have got our reward. In the second half we struggled to get going again. Bochum had more momentum and had one or two opportunities. All in all, it hurts not to have got the win."
