BOUHADDOUZ OUT OF NÜRNBERG TRIP AFTER ANKLE SPRAIN

An injured Aziz Bouhaddouz returned to Hamburg from international duty with Morocco on Monday to undergo an examination by club doctors Volker Carrero and Sebastian Schneider at the Endo rehab clinic. The diagnosis: a tear of the lateral ligament in the striker's right ankle.
Bouhaddouz sustained the injury in a challenge while training with the Moroccan national team and will miss the league game at FC Nürnberg next Monday (kick-off: 2030 CET). "We now have to assess the situation from day to day and wait and see how his recovery goes," said head coach Olaf Janßen. "We're hoping Aziz won't be out that long, of course."
