BUCHTMANN TEARS ANKLE LIGAMENT

Tuesday brought more bad news for the Boys in Brown. Midfielder Christopher Buchtmann has joined striker Aziz Bouhaddouz (torn lateral ligament in his right ankle) on the injury list.
Buchtmann turned over on his left ankle under a challenge during the second training session of the day and tore the anterior ligament, an examination conducted by the club doctors at the Endo rehab clinic revealed later in the evening.
Head coach Olaf Janßen will thus be without both players for Monday's trip to FC Nürnberg (kick-off: 2030 CET).
