The German Football League (DFL) finalised this season's fixture schedule by announcing the kick-off times for matchweeks 29 to 32 on Thursday afternoon. Timo Schultz's side will host Kickers Würzburg on Saturday, 17 April, and Greuther Fürth on Sunday, 25 April, and will go to Fortuna Düsseldorf on Thursday, 22 April, and Holstein Kiel on Friday, 7 May.

The DFL also announced the dates for the play-offs on Thursday afternoon. The third-placed side in Bundesliga 2 will meet the 16th placed Bundesliga team on Wednesday, 26 May (18:30 CET), and Saturday, 29 May (18:00 CET), while the team finishing 16th in Bundesliga 2 will take on the third-placed team in the third division on Thursday, 27 May (18:15 CET). and Sunday, 30 May (13:30 CET).
