DRESS REHEARSAL AT HOME TO HERTHA BSC

The Boys in Brown will host Bundesliga outfit Hertha BSC on Saturday, 17 July, in the curtain raiser for the season opener against Holstein Kiel eight days later. The game will kick off at 16:00 CET. No decision has been made yet on how many spectators will be allowed to attend.

In Hertha BSC, Timo Schultz's side face a genuine examination of their credentials and attractive opposition before the new league campaign gets underway. The match will be shown live on German channel Sport1.

Information on ticket sales and the precise number of fans allowed to enter the ground will follow.

FC St. Pauli won 2-1 at Hannover 96 on Sunday afternoon in front of a 49,000 sell-out crowd at the Heinz von Heiden Arena. After Dapo Afolayan had headed his side into the lead in the 41st minute, Lars Gindorf levelled the scores on the stroke of half-time, but Johannes Eggestein put the Boys in Brown on the road to victory with another header on 65.
