FC St. Pauli and newly promoted second division side Holstein Kiel have agreed to extend Marvin Ducksch's loan deal to 30 June 2018.
The 23-year-old striker moved to Kiel in January and has now signed an extension to the loan agreement that will run until 30 June 2018. In Kiel Ducksch helped the Storks gain promotion with five goals and four assists in 16 appearances.
"Marvin is enjoying his time at Kiel and has done really well on the pitch in the last six months," said director of sport Andreas Rettig. "We're convinced an extension of the loan deal is the right step for Marvin's continued development."
Ducksch said: "I'm very happy that the two clubs have been able to reach an agreement and I can stay at Kiel for another year. We'll do everything we can to achieve our objectives and I hope St. Pauli will also be able to achieve the objectives they set themselves."
