EUTIN 08 0-4 FC ST. PAULI

The Boys in Brown made it two wins out of two as part of their pre-season preparations with a 4-0 success at fifth-tier Eutin 08 on Sunday afternoon. Sami Allagui, Waldemar Sobota, Ersin Zehir and Jan-Marc Schneider got the goals in front of 900 spectators.

The first opportunity of the game was reserved for the home side following a break down the left in the 12th minute. Kevin Hübner found himself unmarked in front of Svend Brodersen, but the young keeper came out on top, defusing the shot with a fine reflex save.

Markus Kauczinski's side took a while to get going but they opened the scoring on 17 minutes when Daniel Buballa delivered a perfect cross into the box for Sami Allagui to head home. A quarter of an hour later it was 2-0 when Waldemar Sobota drilled a low shot just inside the post from 15 metres.

The coaching team rang the changes at half-time, fielding a completely different side with the exception of Brian Koglin, who had replaced Christopher Avevor just before the interval. After a rather quiet start Ersin Zehir was played in down the left in the 62nd minute and had no trouble finding the net to make it three. Six minutes later Jan-Marc Schneider evaded several challenges in the box to blast home. There was little action of note after that and Kauczinski's side saw the game out to make it two wins out of two in pre-season.

Summing up the proceedings, Kauczinski said: "We could have scored another two in the first half. Our movement was good considering the hard week of training we have behind us. I was pleased with our build-up play, in particular. Overall, I'm very satisfied."
