In the run-up to the weekend's visit of league leaders Jahn Regensburg, midfielder Finn Ole Becker took time out before training on Tuesday afternoon to answer questions from the media.
Finn Ole Becker on...
...his start to the season: "I can be satisfied but there's room for improvement as well. I could have scored at Aue and again at Paderborn, so perhaps I could have left a bigger mark on those games. It's a lot more fun now than at the beginning of last season, and that's the most important thing, enjoying yourself on the pitch. We're a lot more gelled than last season, we're better physically and even more of a team."
...the home game against Regensburg: "I'm looking forward to it, it's going to be exciting and a really stiff test. Everything's coming off for Regensburg at the moment. They're playing really well and are a lot better than last season, and they had a good team then."
...his market value, the highest of anyone in the team: "It's flattering but I'm no fan of things like that. I occasionally get the odd remark about it in the dressing room, but for me it's not important at all. I just want to play football and have fun."

Finn Ole Becker had the chance to give his side a 62nd minute lead at Paderborn but was denied by keeper Jannik Huth.
...rumours of a move: "I'm happy to be here. I'm really enjoying myself and that's what counts. I see no reason to change anything, but there haven't been any offers either where I've said, yes, I'll do it, that's the next step."
...his plans for the future: "My contract runs another year and I feel really comfortable here. I'm looking forward to the season and want to get the most out of it. It's no secret that I want to play in the Bundesliga at some point, though. Which player doesn't? I'm living in the here and now and I'm having fun. If I get a good offer that I can identify with, I'll go for it, but we'd have to talk first and find a solution."
...the importance of the family: "My family and the people around me are extremely important. I have a very good team around me and it's great working with them. I've never been out of Hamburg apart from Schleswig-Holstein, where I come from, so I'd like to leave my comfort zone eventually, but not now. Above all, I'd like to stay in Germany."
...head coach Timo Schultz: "It's good that he's my coach because I can develop under him. He requires a lot of me, but we have lots of fun. He knows what he has in me. But he also knows what he doesn't have in me."
...the feeling of being out on the pitch: "I'm always very agitated before a game and have to go to the toilet a lot but that's soon gone when I'm out on the pitch and all I see is football. It's really different with the fans in again, it feels really good."
...his ten years at the club: "The club has definitely moulded me. I've had lots of good times and have great memories, though a few bad ones as well. The club really is something special, like a big family. And most of all the fans are very special."
