Fürth fact file

The season comes to an end with a trip to Greuther Fürth this Sunday (1530 CET). What can the Boys in Brown expect on the final day? As usual, we've run the rule over our final opponents of the 2018/19 campaign.
Susceptible in the air
With 55 goals against, Fürth have the second-worst defensive record of any second division club this season. Only MSV Duisburg have picked the ball out of their own net more often (62). The Cloverleaves sit bottom of the pile when it comes to the number of headed goals conceded, however, having succumbed 15 times in the air.
Strong tacklers
Not one but two Fürth players appear in the division's top ten tacklers. Marco Caligiuri has won 243 challenges out of 362 (67.13 per cent) to put him in seventh place, just one behind Jan-Philipp Kalla (67.37 per cent). Caligiuri's teammate Mario Maloča has won 202 duels out of 315 to leave him ninth on 64.13 per cent tackles won.
Clean sheets
Fürth have come through eight games without conceding a goal this season, which puts them in seventh place in the league rankings. The Cloverleaves occupy bottom place when it comes to drawing a blank themselves, however, having failed to score in 14 of the 33 games they have played so far. Only slightly better are Dynamo Dresden, who have gone 13 times without netting, FC Magdeburg (12 times) and MSV Duisburg (11). The Boys in Brown have failed to register on seven occasions, most recently in the scoreless draw against Bochum last time out.
Homer
Daniel Keita-Ruel returns to action on the final day having missed the last three games through suspension following his dismissal for violent conduct in the game against Union Berlin. Keita-Ruel is Fürth's leading scorer this season with ten goals, though eight of them came in the first half of the season and only two in the second half. The striker would appear to prefer scoring at home. Nine of his ten goals have come at the Ronhof.
Dismissals
The red card seen by Daniel Keita-Ruel against Union Berlin was not the only sending-off for Fürth this season. Mario Maloča and Paul Seguin have also picked up straight reds, while Maximilian Bauer and Julian Green were dismissed for two bookable offences. Only FC Ingolstadt (seven sendings-off) have ended more games a man down this term.
