New away and third shirts unveiled

After launching the new home shirt as part of the recent US tour, FC St. Pauli and equipment suppliers Under Armour have now unveiled the new away and third jerseys. The designs are a reference to the past and impress with rainbow applications that constitute a strong symbol while serving as a connecting element.

Like the new home shirt, the away jersey continues the traditional design but also boasts some new features. "In applying the vertical brown-and-white stripes we worked the adhesive tape look into the design," explained the designers. "The stripes are just as rooted in the tradition of St. Pauli as the hoops on the new home shirt, and the new design confers them even more individuality. Overall, the design builds on that of the previous season." The new away jersey also catches the eye with an embroidered rainbow application in the collar serving as a symbol of diversity and a connecting element.

In aesthetic terms, the third shirt deliberately contrasts strongly with the other two jerseys, yet it also features a connecting element in the form of rainbow stripes on the collar. It will make its debut in Friday's DFB Cup first-round tie at SV Wehen Wiesbaden (kick-off: 2045 CET).

The new St. Pauli shirts are made from Under Armour HeatGear® material. Weighing just 100 grams or so, they are especially light and feature the quick-drying Under Armour signature moisture transport system, which wicks sweat from the body, ensuring a pleasant dry feel for the wearer. The lightweight four-way stretch fabric enhances mobility and accelerates dry time. The vents are placed where the body releases the most heat, creating an optimum cooling effect even in the most exacting weather conditions.
