Buballa handed new two-year deal

St. Pauli have completed the next part of their squad planning for the new season by extending the expiring contract of left-back Daniel Buballa by another two years. The new deal will run until 30 June 2019.

"Daniel has been an important and dependable member of the team in the last three years and so we're very happy to agree new terms and continue our journey together over the next two years," said director of sport Andreas Rettig.

Buballa said: "I'm delighted to be able to continue playing for St. Pauli. We have a great side with superb team spirit and the potential to be successful and achieve our goals. St. Pauli were always my first choice for this reason."

Buballa arrived at the Millerntor from then league rivals VfR Aalen in 2014. In the last three years he has made 89 second-division appearances for the Boys in Brown, scoring one goal and making another 11.
