Hornschuh: "Everyone went full throttle"

After Monday night's hard-fought 3-1 win at FC Nürnberg we noted all the post-match reaction in the mixed zone.

Marc Hornschuh: "The longer you keep a clean sheet, the better your chances are of winning. The players showed great attitude today. Everyone went full throttle. But we have to cut out the simple mistakes."

Bernd Nehrig: "Tomorrow no one will ask about the luck we had today. We came into it by keeping a tight shape. There are 28 players in the squad who give their all in training. Everyone makes a contribution here. That's what's moving us up the table. We're happy to be on ten points."

Waldemar Sobota: "Obviously it's a superb feeling to get the all-important goal. I've felt good in recent weeks and it's great to score today. In the run-up to the goal I speculated on my way in behind the defence and in the end I was quicker than the Nürnberg players. For us it's now all about concentrating on the next game again and focusing fully on Ingolstadt. It's going to be another very tough game."

Robin Himmelmann: "We're all happy with the result, of course, though we can't deny that Nürnberg looked the better side. In the one on one with Valentini I just managed to get my legs together in time, which meant the ball hit me on the right calf."
