SHORT AND SWEET

+++ Senior squad complete blood lactate test +++ Injured duo undergo custom session +++ Women's first team handed trip to TSC Wellingsbüttel +++

+++ After enjoying a day off yesterday the Boys in Brown assembled at the Kollaustrasse training centre on Thursday morning. Head coach Ewald Lienen divided his squad into two groups, but instead of taking to the training ground the players went to Hamburg's largest park, the Stadtpark. On the running track of the park's athletics stadium, the Jahnkampfbahn, they completed a blood lactate test comprising several runs that progressively increased in pace and intensity. Below you will find a selection of images from the test. +++

+++ Jeremy Dudziak was one of several players who missed the game at Würzburg on Monday evening. The midfielder has since recovered from his cold and was able to take part in the blood lactate test, as were Aziz Bouhaddouz and Waldemar Sobota. In Philipp Ziereis and Jan-Philipp Kalla, just two members of the squad remained at the training complex. The duo came in for treatment and then went through a personalised training routine. +++

+++ Last week the women's first team defeated Bergedorf 85 by three goals to nil in the third round of the ODDSET Cup. The draw for the last 16 has now been made and the Girls in Brown will have to overcome TSC Wellingsbüttel away from home if they want to reach the quarter-final. Kick-off at the TSC ground is at 1930 CET on Wednesday, 7 December. +++
