FREIBURG AWAY IN DFB CUP ROUND 2

The draw for the second round of the DFB Cup was made on Sunday afternoon. Paralympic swimmer Josia Topf pulled the teams out of the hat and handed the Boys in Brown an away tie at current Bundesliga leaders SC Freiburg.
The second round ties will be played on Tuesday, 18 October, and Wednesday, 19 October, with the exact kick-off times still to be announced by the German Football Association (DFB).
Head coach Timo Schultz on the draw: "We're looking forward to seeing Kofi again and my former teammate Florian Bruns, who is on the coaching staff at Freiburg. We already had the opportunity to play at Freiburg's new ground last year when it was inaugurated and we know we're up against a team who are now playing European football. We're the clear underdogs, but we still want to go through to the next round."
