ST. PAULI SIGN CENTRE-BACK DŹWIGAŁA

FC St. Pauli have completed the signing of out-of-contract defender Adam Dźwigała. The 25-year-old has put pen to paper on a deal tying him to the club until 30 June 2022 and will wear the No25 jersey for the Boys in Brown.

Adam Dźwigała has been training with the Boys in Brown in recent weeks and made a positive impression. The Polish centre-back was contracted to Portuguese top-division club Desportivo Aves until the summer.

Director of sport Andreas Bornemann: "We're delighted to have signed a rugged central defender in Adam. He's still only 25 but has gained top-flight experience in both Poland and Portugal.”

Head coach Timo Schultz: " Adam convinced us in training with his style of defending. He's strong in the tackle and has the footballing versatility we need for our game. I'm looking forward to working with him."
