Maurides returns to Radomiak Radom

Striker Maurides Roque Junior is leaving FC St. Pauli to rejoin Radomiak Radom, having arrived at the Millerntor from the Polish top-division side in December 2022. The two clubs have agreed not to disclose any details of the transfer.
Maurides was signed as a rugged centre forward but was unable to establish himself long-term in the first team. After getting regular minutes on joining the club, he was kept out by a knee injury for six months and needed some time to find his rhythm again. In total, he made one Bundesliga, 14 Bundesliga 2 and two DFB Cup appearances for the Boys in Brown. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Hungarian top-flight outfit Debreceni VSC.
Despite being denied a competitive goal in a St. Pauli shirt, Maurides always showed commitment and identification with the club, quickly making friends in the dressing room and the fan base with his open manner. He signed off with a goal in the recent friendly against GW Firrel.
We thank Maurides for his service to the club and wish him all the best for his future career!
