ABOUT THE SERVICE

What is FC St. Pauli TV?

FC St. Pauli TV is a streaming service where you can watch videos of the club, the Bundesliga matches in full length as well as the highlights of the match day and many other video contents. To watch all videos, you need an account as well as a valid subscription. We offer

All 34 league matches of a season shortly after the final whistle as full-length video and as a summary

  1. plus all cup games and selected friendly matches
  2. plus press conferences, voices on the game, training and much more

NOW NEW for all matches:

  1.  ANALYSIS TIMELINE: Progress bar with performance data, dominance, goal probability and all important match events.
  2. SCENE TICKER with timeshift:
    - Jump to a scene (live or VOD) at any time.
    - Choose your highlights: all, many or only the best scenes of the match

 

Will the Bundesliga matches be broadcast live?

For legal reasons, we cannot offer live video of Bundesliga matches.

Shortly after the end of the match, you will find the recordings here for download, in full length and as a highlight video.

 

Are there also free videos?

The videos at FC St. Pauli TV, such as the Bundesliga matches, can only be watched with a valid subscription. You can find free videos on our youtube channel.

On which devices can I use FC St. Pauli TV?

The offer runs:

  • PCs with Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer
  • Macs with Safari or Chrome
  • Apple iPhones and iPads with Safari or Chrome
  • Android smartphones and tablets with Chrome or Firefox

Use current versions of web browsers.


LOGIN AND PACKAGES

What packages are available and how much do they cost?

To use FC St. Pauli TV completely you have to buy a subscription. There are different subscriptions:

1. FC St. Pauli TV with a duration of 1 month: Price 4,95 €.
2. FC St. Pauli TV with a term of 6 months: Price 24,95 €
3. FC St. Pauli TV with a term of 12 months: Price 44,95 €

The subscription is automatically renewed at the end of the term. Please note here the point cancellation under "How can I cancel my subscription?".

 

Are there any cancellation periods?

No. You can cancel your package at any time via your user account. In this case you can continue to use the package until the current billing period is over. There will be no further debiting.

How can I cancel my subscription?

 

You can delete your account at any time. Please note that you will not be able to log in again. We cannot restore the account. We only store the data that is required for billing purposes.

If you are not interested in FC St. Pauli TV for the time being, we recommend that you cancel your package (see above). The advantage: You can continue to use your package until the end of the already paid billing period.

How can I change my password?

You can change your password in your customer account.

    1. Go to www.fcstpauli.com/tv and log in
    2. Click on "Anmelden" in the upper right corner or on your user ID
    3. Select "Benutzer Konto"
    4. Select "Ändern" in the "Passwort" field

 

I forgot my password - what now?

You can set a new password. Click on "Forgot password" in the login window. We will send you an email to your email address with a link where you can reset your password.

If you do not have access to the email account, send us an email with your name and the payment method you use. We will then deactivate this account and you can register again.

  3. Enter the email address by which you registered your user account.
  4. Open the email we sent you and click the link in it.

OUR VIDEO PLAYER

Why do the video players on FC St. Pauli TV look different?

There are 3 different video players:For videos such as press conferences, interviews and reporting, we use a classic player as you know it from other video portals.

For live broadcasts we use the GAME TRAIN GRAPHIC RADIO: You listen to the AFM radio and see the animation of all moves. In addition, you have the ANALYSIS TIMELINE and the SCENE TICKER.

After the final whistle you can use all these features also with video and for example jump through all important scenes in autopilot.

 

 

Why does the video player look different when I call up full-length recordings of the games?

We offer a number of additional features to the full-length recordings:

  1. ANALYSIS TIMELINE: below the video all important vents are displayed as icons. You can also analyze the game with 3 progress curves: Performance, Dominance or Goal Probability you can see how the game was and maybe will be.
  2. SCENE TICKER: here you get an overview of the important scenes of the game and can call them up directly.
  3. HIGHLIGHT AUTOPILOT: you can see a summary of the most important scenes of the game directly in the player. Choose if you want more or less and the PLayer will guide you through the game.

The ANALYSIS TIMELINE and the SCENE TICKER are also available during live games and the GAME TRAIN GRAPHIC RADIO.

 

 

What is the ANALYSIS TIMELINE?

In addition to the full-length recordings, the Expert Progress Bar at the bottom of the screen offers you extensive additional information.

 

 

Highlight markers

The symbols show you important scenes that you can call up directly. The symbols mean: Goal, highlight scene, chance (e.g. shot on goal) that was not converted, card (yellow, yellow-red, red).

The border shows to whom the event applied. red: FC St. Pauli, gray: opponent.

Progress curves?

 

The progress curves in the background give clues about the course of the game. They are calculated from more than 10,000 data points per and long-term statistics and mean:

Performance: tackles, passes, dribbles and completions. We analyze all actions and measure them according to player position. From this we calculate performance of a team.
We get the prediction values from the behavior patterns of the teams. You see what would happen if the teams act like they did in the last 10 games.

Dominance: Who has more successful actions? How much space does each team gain? Successful finishes and goals...which team dominates the game more?

Goal probability: Which team has the best chance to score right now?

 

What is the SCENE TICKER?

The SCENE TICKER is available live and on record in full length. Here you get again an overview of the important scenes of the game and can call them up directly.

  2. Select a game day
  3. Select a game recording in full length.
  4. Click on "Ticker" at the bottom right of the page (on the Expert Progress Bar)

 

 

What is the HIGHLIGHT AUTOPILOT?

During a match you can also be guided automatically through the highlights. Select many or only the most important highlights and the player will always jump to the next scene.
 
If you want to stop the highlight autopilot just click on the symbol with the "90" below the video image:

PAYMENT & BILLING

When do i pay the fees for my package?

When you registered, you selected whether you want to pay monthly or at longer intervals. The payment method you selected (e.g. credit card) will be charged automatically immediately after registration. The billing period has started and you can use the offer as often as you want.

At the end of the billing period the subscription will be automatically extended and your payment method will be charged again.

 

Which payment methods does FC St. Pauli TV support?

You choose your payment method during registration. You can change it later in your user account.

We currently support:

  • Credit cards (Visa and Mastercard)
  • SEPA direct debit (debits from your current account)

 

Can I change my payment method after I have registered?

You can change your payment method in your user account. The change will be effective from the next billing period.

Why do I get a request to update my payment method?

We may send you an email or ask you to update your payment method when you log in. This can have several reasons,

  1. We have made a technical change and ask you to update your payment method for security reasons.
  2. Your credit card has expired.
  3. Your checking account has been closed or overdrawn.
  4. Your PayPal account has been deleted or blocked.

In these cases, access to the videos in the offer will be disabled.

Where can I find the invoices for my account?

You can find the invoices for your account in your user account. Here you can also see

How can I use a voucher?

If you have not registered yet, you can enter a coupon code in the registration process.

If you are already registered you can use a voucher code in your customer account. Please note that the voucher will be taken into account in the next billing.

  4. Select "Gutschein einlösen" in the "Gutschein" field

 

I do not live in Germany, can I still register?

Of course you can register even if you do not live in Germany. However, to pay by SEPA direct debit you need an account in Germany, Austria or the Netherlands.

There are no such restrictions for credit cards. However, it may be that your bank restricts payment across national borders. If you receive a message that the payment by credit card has been rejected, your bank may have to release the payment.
